Lighting System Option
The Lighting System is designed to work with the Gallery System tracks. The light wands simply lock onto the same track that hangs your art. A hidden flat power cable, that can be easily fitted onto the top of the track, carries 12 volt current along the track.
The main components of the lighting system are — the same Gallery System tracks that support your art; light wands; lamps; power cable; junction box; and transformer to convert wall current to low voltage (12 volt) current.- Low voltage moveable light wands lock onto Gallery System track at any point
- Easy to move the lights when you move the art
- With lighting closer to the art, low wattage lamps can highlight your pictures without generating heat that could be harmful to your art
- Low voltage (12 volt) current is completely safe to handle
- Low wattage lamps mean lower electricity costs
- LED lamps available for even lower electricity costs

Lamps
Long life, low energy consumption lamps illuminate your art from close enough to bring pictures to life. These low wattage lamps (on right) are standard 12-volt MR-16 bulbs. They provide gallery-quality lighting while protecting your art from damaging heat and keeping utility bills low.
- Lamps closer to the art highlight your pictures better
- Economical 5,000 hour halogen lamps
- LED lamps (on left) are available for even lower electricity costs, even longer life, and even less heat emissions

Light Wands
Sleek, stylish and easy to install, our light wands lock onto our standard wall-mounted track at any point, and can be moved or adjusted as needed. They draw power from a hidden power cable that delivers safe 12-volt current to contact probes on the wand base. The wand design enables use of cool-running low-wattage bulbs so you can get gallery-quality illumination without exposing your art to damaging heat.
- Easy to move the lights when you move the art
- Light can be aimed anywhere from 24 inches below the track to the floor
- Up to 12 wands, spread over up to 60 feet of track, can be powered from one transformer — larger installations should use multiple transformers
-
Power Cable
Sturdy flat cable fits easily into a channel on top of the wall-mounted track, where it is held in place with double-sided adhesive tape (included). The cable is hidden from sight and wraps easily around corners. When a light wand is locked into place, contact probes connect to the cable's conductors to deliver safe 12-volt power to the bulb.
- Easy to install
- Low voltage (12 volt) current is completely safe to handle
-
Junction Box
Installs next to the wall-mounted track, connecting the power cable to the 12-volt power supply from the transformer — it also incorporates circuit breakers to prevent electrical overload.
